With computers ever-changing, Windows Media Player is the only program that remains included in each system. With the instructions below, you will be able to make a copy of your favorite songs in no time! Read more to find out how.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A personal computer with Windows Media Player
  • Audio you wish to burn
  • A blank CD
  1. Step 1

    Turn on the computer and open Windows Media Player (WMP).

  2. Step 2

    Click on "Rip" at the top of the WMP screen.

  3. Step 3

    Insert the CD you wish to copy. The program should automatically begin to copy the songs from the disk into WMP. If not, click "Start Rip" in the lower right-hand corner. The Rip process should take about 3 to 5 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    Click "Burn" after the Rip process is complete.

  5. Step 5

    Eject CD from drive and insert a blank CD.

  6. Step 6

    Find the new CD title in your WMP library and then highlight the song(s) you wish to burn to the new CD.

  7. Step 7

    Drag the songs you wish to burn into the "Burn List". Click, "Start Burn". The burn process should take between 3 to 5 minutes.

  8. Step 8

    Remove CD for personal use!
