Things You'll Need:

  • Colorful magazine pages or tissue paper
  • 12-inch pipe cleaners
  1. Step 1

Pick two colorful magazine pages or tissue paper.

  2. Step 2

    Cut one 5-by-5 foot square.

  3. Step 3

Cut a second square measuring 4 inches by 4 inches.

  4. Step 4

Fold each square accordion style by starting at one corner and folding on the diagonal. The folds should be about 1/4 inch each.

  5. Step 5

Fold a pipe cleaner in half, and create a small loop at the bottom by twisting the pipe cleaner once.

  6. Step 6

Pinch the middle of each square of paper.

  7. Step 7

Place the 5-inch square of paper inside the folded pipe cleaner.

  8. Step 8

Next, place the 4-inch square paper inside the folded pipe cleaner so it's on top of the five inch square.

  9. Step 9

Secure the paper by twisting the pipe cleaner both above and below the pieces of paper.

  10. Step 10

Curl the two loose ends of the pipe cleaner for antennae.
