Tori Spelling is a famous actress, reality TV personality and author, who grew up as Hollywood royalty in a world full of fashion. During both pregnancies with children Liam and Stella (by husband and actor Dean McDermott), she developed a keen sense of maternity style that was equally feminine and fresh. Here's how you can emulate that style.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tank tops and slim-fitting jeans
  • Large wardrobe of dresses that show off legs and arms
  • Bracelets, necklaces and earrings
  • Sturdy kitten heels for nights out and flats for casual days
  1. Step 1

Put away the muumuu and embrace your womanly form. Tori refreshingly appreciated her pregnancy curves and displayed her new stomach (instead of hiding it in over-sized clothing). Try creating a basic wardrobe of slim-fitting tank tops, T-shirts and skinny jeans that are both stretchy and stylish.

  2. Step 2

Dress up with pride and pizazz. Despite being pregnant, Tori loved to dress up her expectant figure in flattering baby-doll dresses, which left her midsection comfortable and covered but displayed her long legs and slim arms.

  3. Step 3

Try all shapes and sizes of clothing, even if they are not maternity wear. At certain points in her pregnancies, Tori wore long empire-waist dresses or structured trapeze shifts that allowed room for her stomach without sacrificing style.

  4. Step 4

Balance out your burgeoning belly with varying shapes and sizes. Tori created appropriate proportions for her growing body by wearing slim fit jeans with a long, empire-waist blouse or a tight top with wide, flowing pants. For example, if wearing something slim on top, try balancing it out whenever possible with a looser fitting bottom (or visa versa).

  5. Step 5

Be fearless with accessories. Tori plays up her maternity wear by adding bold layered necklaces, fresh earrings or stacked bracelets to outfits (although it helps that she designs jewelry). Although she loves to wear delicate kitten heels or large pumps when dressing up, she keeps it casual and realistic the rest of the time by wearing ballet flats or sandals.
