Order tickets for Six Flag theme park ahead of time. You can order them online (see Resources). Ordering them online will save you about $5 per person. Also, if your trip to Lake George is going to be just for the day, don’t forget to buy a parking ticket. For $5 more you can buy a preferred parking ticket that allows you to park closest to the park entrance. This is helpful if you are going to be there only for the day and plan to go back to the car and have lunch. You can purchase lunch in the park, but you'll find that the prices, like all theme parks, are usually on the higher side.
