Things You'll Need:
- a tape measure
- a day to shop
- some patience
-
Step 1
take a flexible tape measure and measure around your rib cage, right below your breasts. this should give you the 30 number that you will find on the bra. If the number is even add 4 to it, if it is odd at 5.
-
Step 2
Next you should measure around the fullest part of your breasts to get the cup size. Round up to the nearest whole number.
-
Step 3
Now take the band measurement, (the first measurement) and subtract the cup measurement, (the second measurement). On the average, each inch difference is a cup size.
-
Step 4
Example:
Step 1: 34" under measurement +4" = 38" band
Step 2: 40" over measurement
Step 3: 40" - 38" = 2" (B Cup)
Your size would be 38B
Example:
Step 1: 33" under measurement +5=38" band
Step 2: 42 over measurement
Step 3: 42" - 38" = 4" (D cup)
Your size would be 38D
