Look for clear hair shampoo if you have thin, fine hair. Look for an ingredient called panthenol. It gives hair body.

Purchase hair shampoo with natural oils if you have curly or course hair. Curly hair tends to dry out very quickly. Shea butter and certain nut oils are particularly common.

Use baby shampoo for colored hair. It is much cheaper than hair shampoo designed for colored hair, but is just as gentle. Your best bet is to wash the scalp really well. Then, after you rinse, use a strong conditioner for the ends only. Treated hair tends to have extra dry ends.

Purchase creamy looking hair shampoo if you have damaged, or extra dry hair. It helps to lock in moisture and rejuvenate the hair follicles.
