Things You'll Need:
- internet access
- time and patience
-
Step 1
Save a bundle by staying at an extended stay hotel. At $149.00 a week you can't go wrong. Your accommodations may not be ***** star but at 20 - 30 dollars a night, you can't go wrong. Never, and I mean never buy anything at the hotel store. I bought a pint of milk for $2.50!!! Well, I like milk and was thirsty. My baaaaad!
-
Step 2
Look for a hotel room with a good sized refrigerator and kitchenette. Most hotels are designed for families. Cook your own meals and purchase food at the local Grocery Store. Publix Supermarket is the best.
-
Step 3
Carry your own back pack with food and beverages. You'll save a bundle on Spam and bologna sandwiches. Pack your own chips and carry a large water bottle. If they have a deal on unlimited Fountain Drinks for about $12.00 then go for it. You have unlimited refills and if you have a family of 4 it is well worth it.
-
Step 4
Pack your own sun screen and a good Hat. The sun is Hot and you'll be tempted to buy one at the park.
-
Step 5
Paid Parking. Some Hotels will have free shuttle service to the Park. However, you are restricted to their time. It is best to budget the $12.00 for Daily parking at the Park. Well worth it in saving time and getting the most out of the day. You can also easily go back to your car and take a break while eating lunch and or Dinner from pr-packed gourmet cooler.
-
Step 6
If you truly wish to save on Ticket attractions then attend a Time Share Seminar. You will at least get your Tickets at half price. However you will sacrifice about 5 hours of your life and lose half a day at the theme park. I recommend doing this prior to attending any Theme Park so that you can arrive early and truly enjoy the day.

on 8/18/2008 These are all great tips, but I am going to skip the Time Share seminar. I am going with the family in October, so I will let you know how much I save.
