Tips & Warnings

  • To keep your skin looking whiter and lighter, stay out of the sun as much as possible (especially during peak times, 10 a.m. through 4 p.m.).

  • Always wear sunscreen, even when you do not plan to be directly in the path of the sun's rays.

  • If you choose to use a skin-whitening product, read the list of ingredients. Do not apply to your skin if it contains hudroquine or mercury. Both of these ingredients have been banned from these types of products in many countries because they can cause scarring and possibly cancer.

  • Never apply bleach to your skin. It can damage your skin, causing scarring or burning.

  • Too much vitamin C can cause many health problems, including the development of kidney stones.
