Stimulating your child's mind is a great way to keep the brain active. There are great ways to stimulate different parts of your child's brains for better learning. Stimulation of a child's brain should start at an early age. By learning ways to do this, you can create a foundation for future growth and learning.

Instructions

1. 

   Take your children to the Museums, the Zoo, etc. Talk to them about what they experienced that day. Throw out random questions, to get them to utilize their brains.

   Challenge your children with certain questions. Give them time to think and come up with their answers.

3. Teach them to think ahead. Think about the future outcomes, such as, "What if i throw the ball at the window, what will happen, and what are the consequences?"

4. 

   Use humor to show children that, there is more than one way to look at things.

5. 

   Choose stimulating activities and games, such as, puzzles and word problems. These exercises their minds and sharpen their thinking abilities.

6. 

   Stimulate your child's brain by reading to him, from an early age. Sing songs that you make up along the way. You can even include his name in the song, to get his attention.

7. 

   Most importantly, provide a safe and loving environment for your child. This will promote brain development, setting a sturdy foundation for the future.

• Teach them to write their thoughts down in a journal. This is a great excercise for the brain.

• Practice your child to think. As they grow older, it is important that they keep mentally alert.

• Avoid negative experiences, which will influence the development of your child's brain.
