How to Make Tofu Sour Cream

This is the best sour cream I've ever had!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 lb. tofu (half a block)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 T oil
  • 1 1/2 T lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp vinegar
  1. Step 1

    Well, this is the easiest recipe in the world. Just mix everything in a blender! Keep it a little chunky if you want, or keep mixing until it's smooth.

  2. Step 2

    Silken or soft tofu will of course give the sour cream a smoother texture, but there's something very satisfying about the chunky sour cream made with firm tofu.

  3. Step 3

    Use it on baked potatoes with some chives... mmm...
