How to register at the free community website for artists

Promoting visual arts on the web is a tough job - thousands of artists aroud the globe want their artwork to get known, recoginzed and eventually sold. Things You'll Need:

• Computer
• Internet
• Internet Browser
• Artwork Images

1. Go to http://www.art--for--sale.com. The front page shows latest art works as well as lately registered users - artists and art lovers.

2. Find and 'Join Now' Button at the upper right corner of the screen. The join screen will appear.

3. Fill in all the fields - required (marked with the red star) and optional:
   - nickname (used to login)
   - email address (all your communication emails will com here)
   - password and password confirmation
   - headline - brief intro
   - description - provide some details about who you are, what kind of art you create, and optionally to your other website(s)
   - country/city - your country/city of residence
   - tags - keywords, describing your art. Example: Fine art, oil, still life
   - captcha - this is a security image, which prevents virtual computers (not real users) from registering
   - you should read and agree with the terms and conditions

4. Click Submit button
   Very soon you should receive the confirmation email, which will contain the link (URL) inactivate your account and login first time. Click on this link (or copy it into your web browser) and access the website.
   Congratulations! You are a member now!

5. The next step will be to upload your profile photo. This may be your personal photo, or, if you are not willing to share with the world, could be and image of one of your artwork.
   To do so go to the menu 'My Profile' (upper right corner) and then 'Profile Photos'.
   Provide the title for the photo, if you wish, then click on 'Browse' button and select your favorite image you will to upload.
   Then click submit.
   Now your profile has an image associated with it.

6. the next step (and most important one!) is to upload images of your artwork.
   Select 'Art Works' from the horizontal menu, then click on 'Upload Artworks' underneath.
   You will have to agree with the terms in order to continue, so read them click the button below.
   Provide Title, description and tags for the image
   Browse for the images on your computer, select image and click 'Upload File'.
   Voilà! Your first image is there!
   Continue the process to upload more.

7. At this point your profile is created and loaded with information.
   You can start using other website features, such as blogging, forums, chat and contact other members.
