The CLINCH knot is used for that most important place-where the lure ,hook or the swivel meets the line. A well tied knot here will save you lots of lost fish & lures!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Pass the line through the eye of the lure ,hook or swivel . Double back and make five or 6 turns around the line.

  2. Step 2

Holding the coils in place, put the tag end of the first loop above the eye, then through the other larger loop

  3. Step 3

Hold the tag end and standing line while pulling up the coils. Make sure the coils are in a spiral, not overlapping each other. Slide against the eye.
    Clip the tag end short.
