Earn a Living From Home

Today's economy and the price of gas makes the ability to generate income from home a viable option. I've been working from home as an Independent Contractor, a Web Designer, and Infopreneur since May 2005. Here's how you can do it.

Research Legitimate Work From Home Opportunites. You can start here: workhomeunion.blogspot.com. Never pay anyone, 1 dime, to work from home. You're looking for a job, so why should you have to PAY to WORK? When you seek employment the traditional way, going on interviews, etc., you don't pay the employers for an interview. You don't pay to work because oftentimes most people are broke when job hunting; or at the least you're pinching pennies.

Apply for as many legit WFH opportunities as possible because you will definitely receive feedback. If you follow through, I guarantee you will be working within a month or two.

I've referred many people to my blog and if they are consistent, about 90% have found employment from home.

Granted, some of the companies that hire virtual employees may not pay the $20 to $30 per hour that you want to make, however, if you stay optimistic and work hard, you'll find that your WFH opportunities will begin to increase and that will become your M.O. Anytime you need work, you'll know where to look for work that will keep you at home.

Throughout the gas crisis, going back 3 years, my average spending on gas: $40 per month. This entails checking my PO Box a couple times per week, going to the gym, the grocery store, and taking my kids to school. Occassionally, when I want a change of scenery, and want to see some people, I'll go to Barnicles or Buffalo Wilds Wings (both are hot spots with free Internet), eat me some wings, watch a little sports, and work for 2-3 hours.
