Saving money at the grocery store is easy when using coupons regularly.

Things You'll Need:

• Coupons from the Sunday paper
• a plastic coupon organizer

1. Clip coupons from Sunday paper. Even if you're not sure you would use the item, cut out the coupon. It might be free!

2. Organize your coupons into logical sections that correspond to aisles of your most frequently shopped grocery store.

3. Take your coupons to the store. Peruse the weekly flyer to see what items are on sale. Utilize your coupons, if you have corresponding ones, to get the best bargains on those items.

Tips & Warnings

• Often you can get name-brand items for less than generic brand prices if you are a smart coupon clipper.
• Research which grocery stores in your area double coupons. Most coupons in my area double up to 99 cents.
• Watch the media and your store for advertisements for when your stores might have super double coupons. This is a great time to stock up on necessities that could be free or next to nothing.
• When the cashier is taking off your coupons, make sure that they properly enter the amounts.
• Make sure that your store doesn't have limits in regard to number of items that can be purchased with coupons (same items)
