Step 1
Get honest opinions from friends and family. We often see our own faults much more than others do. A thinner nose may will not change who you are on the inside. Be realistic about your expectations.
-
Step 2
Check on the surgeon's qualifications before you go under the knife. Doctors have to start somewhere but do you want that to be on your face? Get personal references as well as checking for board certification.
-
Step 3
Look for a quality surgeon, not a discount one. Plastic surgery is expensive and many American's leave the country to find cheaper surgery. However, you may have no legal recourse in a foreign country if your plastic surgery goes awry.
-
Step 4
Get healthy before your plastic surgery is scheduled. Smoking can cause devastating results and alcohol abuse can hinder the effects of anesthesia.

on 8/23/2008 If I can't improve my flaw by exercise, diet and taking proper care of myself I just accept it. To me it's sick when women will break the bank to get plastic surgery. Insecurity drives women to make stupid decisions. Work on yourself from the inside out. That's smart.
