There is a place online where you can check for recalls.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • computer
  • internet
  1. Step 1

    Go to http://www.recalls.gov/recent.html .

  2. Step 2

    There are 6 categories: Consumer Products
    Foods, Medicines, Cosmetics
    Motor Vehicles, Car Seats
    Environmental Products
    Meat and Poultry Products
    Boats and Boating Safety

  3. Step 3

    Browse through each category. If you see something you have click on it for a complete explanation of why it is recalled and how to get a replacement, get it fixed, or get a refund.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be sure and tell your friends if you see something they may have that is recalled.
  • The site is updated regularly
