Step 1
Upgrade your plan to allow you 3 movies at a time. Online DVD rental is different than renting from a brick and mortar building. You can't just go in and pick up a DVD any time you want, you have to be prepared. Having 3 movies keeps you prepared at all times.

Step 2
Log on to your online DVD rental account and set up your wish list. This is important. Your wish list must be filled at all times so you aren't delayed with a new DVD.

Step 3
Return your movies as you watch them. Do not wait until you have watched all 3 to return them all. You can send 1 movie back at a time. This way you have a constant supply of movies from your online DVD rental account.

Step 4
Rate the movies you watch. Online DVD rental companies can make suggestions for you based on the types of movies you like and dislike.

Step 5
Put yourself on the list for movies that have not yet been released. This gives you first dibs when they are released to DVD. Most online DVD rental companies allow you to place movies on your wish list even while they are still in the theaters.

on 8/8/2008 I love my online rental account. Sometimes I watch the DVD then each family member watches it individually, and there are no late fees! Plus, I can get foreign and old and obscure movies that brick and mortar shops just can't have :)
