Ready to take your Wii experience to the next level? Then, it's time to hook it up to the internet. It's pretty simple - just follow these steps.

First, you'll need to determine whether you want to go wired or wireless. If you already have a wireless router in your home, then this may be the best and cheapest choice. If you do not, then wired will probably be the most cost effective.

For use with a wireless router, first determine what your WEP (security) code is on the router. Then, go into the Wii Options and then Managements. Click on internet settings and try to find the internet. Note you may need to enter the WEP code if your system is secure.

For a wired connection, purchase the Nintendo Wifi USB Connector. Hookup is pretty simple as one end goes into the Wii and the other end goes into a USB port on the computer that has internet access in your home.

Tips & Warnings
Not all wireless routers will have the WEP encryption enabled. If you want a secured connection, you can enable the security on the router.
If using the wired system, Note that the Wii will have to be in close proximity to the internet computer.
