How to Make a Polymer Clay Skull Bead

Here's how to make skull beads with polymer clay.

Difficulty: Moderate

Instructions

1. You can use any color of clay to make your skull beads. To make a natural bone type color, use half and half of white and transluscent polymer clays.

2. Roll your clay into small 1/2 inch balls.

3. Shape the balls into tiny human skulls. I like to use a picture of a skull to guide me.

4. Use the end of a small piantbrush to make eye sockets. Use a knife tool to cut in marks for the teeth.

5. Use a large pin to poke holes for stringing. I like to put the hole right at the base of the skull.

6. Bake on tin foil in your oven as directed on the polymer clay's package.
