How to Have A Great End Of The Summer Party

Every year about fifty friends and I have a huge party to end the summer! You can do it too! It's so easy! It takes a lot of time though! And you have to have to have a couple hundreds on you if you want to make it really special, but trust me it's worth it!

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • phone
  • friends
  • money
  1. Step 1

First, you need to find a place to have your party. Here's a couple of suggestions: A hotel conference room, your own backyard, your local park, or a public pool. If your having it in a hotel conference room you're going to need to call them to make a reservation. They will also tell you any other things you need to do. There may be a fee or you may have to get a hotel room. If you're having it at your local park you need to see who is in charge of the park to make sure it is okay to have your party here. And if your planning on having it at a public school drive down there and talk to the person in charge. He will give you all the details.

  2. Step 2

Second, you will need to write your guest list. Invite whoever you want. Just make sure you don't invite too many people or it could get messy! I would invite ten to seventy five people, depending on your location. You can then send out the invitations.

  3. Step 3

Third, you need to buy the food/snacks. All kids want is candy and sweets. Teenagers like chips and dip. And most adults like the full on meal! Hamburgers or hotdogs are good for everyone though. Try those if you're stuck on the main meal.

  4. Step 4

Fourth, find entertainment. For kids it's really easy. Try a clown or magician and you're all set! Teens are harder. They're all different. Adults just want time to talk and drink. Whatever party your trying to entertain I would just burn a disk and blast it on your stereo. Look up "Top Music Videos" on Google. And right down your answers. These are good songs to play.

  5. Step 5

Fifth, is easy. Maybe buy a little decoration to spice up the party, but that's it. To tell you the truth no one really looks at the scenery anyway. So don't waste your money on this stuff!
The day of the party make sure everything is going good. Remember this is the last party of the Summer! People will be counting on you for a great party! Good luck!!!

Tips & Warnings
  • I would do the invites by email or postage mail, so now feelings get hurt.
  • If you know two people don't get along well I would suggest not inviting one of them or not inviting either of them.

Excellent tip about not inviting either of them. If you invite one, the other will be hurt or resentful. If you invite neither, they can't feel that you prefer the company of one over the other.
