When working with raw polymer clay, it's easy to transfer dirt, hair, and oil from your hands onto the clay, which is really hard to get off. Here are some ways to keep you polymer clay clean.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Comepletely wash and dry your hands with soap and warm water before working with polymer clay. You should also rewash your hands periodically , especially between handling different colors.

  2. Step 2

After washing your hands, rub some rubbing alcohol into your palms and fingertips. This will keep hand oils off the clay.

  3. Step 3

Store raw clay imediately in plastic wrap when your done working with it, if you're not going to cook it right away.
