Things You'll Need:
- Internet connection
- computer
- information
- dates of trip
- budget
- know your needs
-
Step 1
The first thing you need to do is decide when you are going. This will determine the rate and how busy the hotel will be. Research when you would like to go on such web sites as www.mousesavers.com or www.allearsnet.com. Both of these sites have information on the different Disney seasons and how much and how busy the hotel will be during that season.
-
Step 2
Next you will need to know your budget. Decide how much you can afford to spend on a hotel a night. For example: if you can afford only $100 a night then you will need to look at off site hotels or the Disney Value hotels, as they are usually under $100. Visit www.disney.com and click on the travel section to find information about Disney world. This site constantly promotes deals that Disney World is offering to their guests. You can find hotel rates as low as $69 a night during certain seasons.
-
Step 3
Once you know your dates and budget then you are ready to decide on a hotel. Use the above web sites to research your trip. You will most likely save more money if you buy a vacation package from www.disney.com, you can also take advantage of the promotions Disney has to offer as well. You can also research hotels that are off site, which means they are further away from the Disney World Parks. These hotels may have a low rate, but you may have to drive yourself to the parks where a parking fee will be charged. If you stay in a Disney World hotel then you receive several "perks" that in my opinion out way the lower rate. You will get transportation to all the Disney parks for free, extra magic hours--which are early morning and late evening hours when the parks are only open to you, and so much more. You also get a free parking pass to all the parks, if you decide to drive yourself. The Disney hotels are so much closer to the parks it only takes a few minutes to get there.
-
Step 4
Use www.tripadvisor.com to read reviews of any hotels you may want to stay at. The reviews on the website are from real people who are very honest. This will also help you in your decision. The number of people you have in your party will also determine where you can stay, so take that into account as well.
-
Step 5
Finally book your vacation and get ready to have some fun!
