A fast and easy party recipe favorite is Rotel nacho cheese dip. This tasty appetizer is always a crowd pleaser. You can keep the dip warm for hours using a crock pot.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 10 oz can of Rotel
  • 1 lb block Veleeta cheese
  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
  • Seasoning
  • Nachos or tortilla chips
  • Skillet
  • Crock pot
  • Long handle spoon
  • Knife
  1. Step 1

    Heat a crock pot on high.

  2. Step 2
    Velveeta
    Velveeta

    Cut a 1 lb block of Velveeta cheese (original or 2% milk) into pieces and add to crock pot.

  3. Step 3

    In a skillet, brown 1 lb seasoned beef (or turkey) and drain excess grease.

  4. Step 4

    Add browned meat into crock pot.

  5. Step 5

    Open can of Rotel (original, mild, or hot) and pour entire contents into crock pot.

  6. Step 6

    Stir.

  7. Step 7

    Let warm until bubbly.

  8. Step 8

    Reduce heat (turn crock pot on low) and serve over nachos or tortilla chips.
