I am always looking for new ingredients for my family since they are not very good eaters... this pork chops were absolutely delicious and got a really good review from them!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pork Chops
  • 1/2 cup Pineapple Juice
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/3 cup of vinegar
  • brown sugar (or a bit of white instead)
  • 1 medium white onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • a bit of thyme
  • Salt and Pepper
  • butter
  • Sliced and Peeled Apples
  1. Step 1

First brown the pork chops on butter, seasoning with salt and pepper. Take them out on a plate for a few minutes.

  2. Step 2

On the same pan put some butter on it and oil, onions and garlic cook it for 5 min. Add the water, pineapple juice and vinegar, mix together and add right after the sugar... stir... add apples to it.

  3. Step 3

When the apples look a bit soft, add pork chops on top. Sprinkle some thyme on top and cover for 20 min. or until the apples are caramelized and brown.

on 10/16/2008 I made a resolution to cook more this year and then realized I don't have a lot of recipes that I know how to make. This sounds like a really good dish to add to my repertoire. Thanks for sharing!
