Get Free Ringtones
Get Free Ringtones

Convenient, FREE websites to help add REAL music (MP3) ringtones to your cell phone.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A cell phone
  • Internet access
  • Cell phone capability to receive picture messages without accessing the internet. (No need to have internet set up on your cell!)
  1. Step 1

I'm sure that all of you have been like me, looking for real music ringtones to have on my cell phone. Problem is, I always run into hidden fees or having to have internet access on my cell phone, which lets face it, not everyone wants to have because it's just another charge! Here's a couple of websites that I've tried and tested and have worked for my cell phone and are sure to work for yours!

  2. Step 2

Http://www.tonzr.com <-- Probably the EASIEST site to use. All you do is search. You can preview the ringtone and then click on the artist and title name, enter your phone number and the format to send to your phone & voila! For those of you who have Sprint, this might be a challenge, but can probably be done if you have a friend who can bluetooth the ringtone over to you! Also, if you DO NOT want to have to connect to the internet, always choose the "MMS-Picture Message" option from the drop down menu when sending it to your cell. It attaches the ringtone right to your message for you to save on your phone. No gimmicks, no fees. Perfectly loud and clear music!

  3. Step 3

Http://www.phonezoo.com <-- Another one of my favorite websites! Not only can you find some interesting ringtones on here, but if you don't find what you're looking for, just upload your favorite track and make your own ringtone and send it directly to your phone. No fee and EASY to use! Also has pictures & I believe if you have internet access on your cell phone, they might have a WAP site that you can visit from your cell. Great "personalized" site.

  4. Step 4

Http://www.audiko.net <-- A great search engine for ringtones as well as make your own. Self explanatory really. Great site. I use it along with Tonzr.

  5. Step 5

My final website that I like to use is http://www.zedge.net. I have internet access on my cell so I also utilize their WAP site that's listed on their website. It makes things easier for me. This is also a great website if you want to send ringtones or pictures that you have on your computer to your cell phone. (I did that when I didn't have a camera phone). No fees and really easy to use! They've got great wallpapers and games too!

Tips & Warnings
  • You don't have to have internet access on your cell phone to reap the benefits of these websites. I've searched a long time and have come up with a top 3 that I regularly use, that I've now shared with you.
  • Share this article with others - they'll appreicate it as much as you did!
  • You may be up late on tonzr.com looking for ringtones. I've spent an hour on there not even knowing it just previewing and sending myself ringtones. Now I have plenty of free ringtones and no where to put them - not enough people to assign them to! Haha.
