Install the Ink Cartridge in an Epson Stylus 1000 Printer

The Epson Stylus 1000 Printer may have been discontinued, but it is still a dandy printer for people who need good quality black-and-white printing at high speeds. The Stylus 1000 uses Inkjet technology, so it is remarkably quiet. Its ink cartridge is good for approximately 700 pages. When the Stylus 1000 runs out of ink, replacing the cartridge is easy, so you can get back to printing in a flash.

Tips & Warnings

  • Open the package containing the replacement ink cartridge only when you are ready to install it. Storing an ink cartridge outside of its protective packaging may cause the ink to dry, rendering the cartridge unusable.

  • Opening the ink cartridge clamp for any reason other than to change the ink cartridge will render the installed ink cartridge unusable.

  • Old cartridges may still contain ink that can spill if not handled carefully.

  • If you get ink on your skin, wash the area immediately with soap and water.

  • If you get ink in your eyes, flush them immediately with cool water. If you experience discomfort or vision problems after flushing your eyes, seek immediate medical attention.
