    • 2

Sign the title to the vehicle in the “seller” area on the back of the page. The National Kidney Foundation will need to transfer ownership of the vehicle after donation.

    • 3

Visit the Kidney Kars Foundation website (see Resources). Click on the "Utah" section in on the main page of the website. This will provide you with information about how your car donation can help local kidney patients.

    • 4

Click on the "donate-a-car" link on the web page. This will bring you to a page with an application that you will need to fill out before donating your car. After filling out the application, the Kidney Kars charity will contact you by phone to to set up an appointment for the tow truck to pick up your vehicle. Kidney Kars will then dispatch a tow truck to your home to pick up your donation. At the time of pick up, you will be issued a receipt for the fair market value of your vehicle. Save this, as you can use it for a tax deduction.
