Make an Origami Fruit Bat

Origami fruit bats are fun to make any time of the year, but you could make several to serve as Halloween decorations. Hollywood horror movie directors often use fruit bats to represent vampires or to lend a spooky atmosphere to the picture because fruit bats are large and look imposing. Being herbivores, however, fruit bats pose no real threat to humans.

Fold in half diagonally the other way. Unfold.

Fold in half lengthwise to make a rectangle. Unfold.

  4. Step 4

Fold in half the opposite way to further crease your paper. Then unfold.

  5. Step 5

Fold all corners to the bottom.
