How to Plan a Fairy Tale Themed Wedding
Most fairy tales end with a sweet "and they lived happily ever after." And most brides and grooms entering into marriage hope for the same. One way of bringing that hope to life is by having a lovely dream wedding with a fairy tale theme. This allows a marrying couple to combine the best of both worlds: the dreamy fairy tales of childhood and the romantic happily-ever-afters of wedding a true love.

1
Visit a fabric or crafts store, where a little bit of planning and shopping can find nearly all the supplies you'll need to create a fairy tale themed wedding. Start with bolts of tulle netting in your choice of light and airy colors. Be sure to use plenty of white.

2
Hang and drape the tulle. Tulle can hang from the rafters and beams or dress up chairs and pews in the church. Tying the tulle in pretty bows is just one way to create a fairy tale atmosphere.

Mist spray adhesive lightly on the tulle, then sprinkle with gold or silver glitter. Shake off the excess, and hang or drape the tulle around tables and in entryways. Stuff the glittered tulle into jars or vases for easy but sparkling centerpieces or accent pieces. Tuck in a few flowers as well.

4
Hire a horse-drawn carriage. Many fairy tales come to a close with the prince taking his princess away in a horse-drawn carriage. If that isn't a viable option, however, find a caterer that specializes in ice sculptures. An ice sculpture of a horse and carriage or of Cinderella's pumpkin carriage would add whimsy as well as a sparkling crystal effect to the surroundings.

Order a fairy tale cake. The wedding cake is not only a delicious dessert, but is also a centerpiece and major focal point of the wedding's theme. Find a baker who will create a fairy tale scene on your wedding cake, and delight as you feed the very first bite to your Prince Charming.
