How to Do a Drawing Spell

If you're familiar with casting spells at all, learning to do a drawing spell is an easy transition. There's no need to break the bank, but if you can use paper and other art supplies that you enjoy working with, you will be more engaged with the process and with the resulting drawing. This means you will have more personal energy invested in your spell.

2. Prepare a ritual space. Choose a pleasant setting where you are unlikely to be disturbed while you do your drawing spell. If you like, include other ritual elements such as music and incense appropriate to your theme. If you're used to casting a circle to work inside of, that can be a good addition to the ritual.

3. Prepare yourself. Calm yourself by taking several deep breaths or meditating for a few minutes. Try to feel life energy coursing through you, perhaps coming through the top of your head or up from the ground.

4. Start drawing images related to the theme of your spell on the paper. For example, if you are looking for a new home, draw a house with all the features you are hoping for. Draw as well as you can--you're not being graded on ability, but you do get points for effort.

5. Make sure to include all the elements you can think of. Feel free to use symbols or writing if you can't think of appropriate pictures for everything you want to say. You can also describe what you're drawing and why as you work, which is especially helpful if you want to do a drawing spell with other people.

6. Add decorative finishing touches. If you like, color you drawing or add some stickers, pictures from magazines, glitter or colorful paint. Anything that you can do to make your drawing more exciting and engaging is good.

7. Leave your drawing in a powerful place, like a home altar, or somewhere that you can look at it often. Whenever you see it, take a few moments to concentrate on your spell and its goals.

• Make sure to take some practical action towards your goals too. Even the best spells require action, so if, for example, you do a spell to get work but never apply for any jobs, you could have trouble. If you like, you can commit to a relevant course of action as part of your ritual.
