Pirate costumes are a big hit, for both Halloween and for costume parties. They may also be worn in the bedroom to spice up your love life. Learning to tie a pirate sash can be done in a few simple steps.

Instructions

    • 1

      Smooth the pirate sash out flat on a flat surface, such as a table or a bed.

      Pick up the left side of the pirate sash by the end of it.

    • 3

      Loop it around your waist behind you and grab the right end with your right hand, bringing the two ends around to the front of your body.

    • 4

      Pull the left side of the sash, which you are holding onto with your left hand, out about a foot or so more so that the length is uneven.

      Pull the left part of the sash over to the front of your right side so that the sash now dangles over your right leg.

      Cross your right hand, holding the sash, over your left hand, and underneath the sash held in your left hand.

      Pull the pirate sash tight against your hips. letting the shorter end dangle on top of the longer end. The long end should rest down to the middle of your thighs.

    • 8

      Adjust the tightness of the sash so that you are comfortable.
