Xanga is a wonderful platform where millions of people share their opinions, develop friendships and learn about a million and one things that happen in this wide world. Typical to any social bookmark site, Xanga too encourages comments to posts. Many people like to post photographs in these posts or wonder how they could do this. Some enterprising users have found a loophole around HTML limits, using something called "css" to sneak images into link tags. You can add your profile photo to any of your comments with a few very simple steps.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Select a photograph that you would like and save it on your desktop. Log in the Xanga.com and open your weblog. Once you complete it, click on the 'edit it' button. A new button would be visible to you in the Weblog Editor under the Extras caption; there you need to just click on 'choose'.

  2. Step 2

As soon as you click on 'choose', you would have a window pop-up showing you in the form of thumbnails, all the photographs you have stored or uploaded on your page. Choose any one of the photos you like and then click on it. You will find that the photo you chose has been fixed against your comment.

  3. Step 3

Go to http://www.xanga.com/private/editaccountcmt.aspx and you will find there a simple question typed, "display picture next to comments – Yes No". As you would have guessed by now, you would need to choose the Yes box. The sooner you click on this, you will have a picture appear with your comment wherever and whenever you want.

Tips & Warnings
  • There is an excellent 'help' site on Xanga. You will find the answers to all your queries over there. In case you do not or you need a more elaborate answer, you could always contact the help team for a very prompt and helpful intervention.
  • In case you want to remove photos, all you have to do is go back to the site listed in Step 3 and click on 'no'.
