1
List your classic car for sale on the "Old Ride" website. This website allows individuals to create their own classified ad and even include a photograph of their vehicle in the ad.

2
Try the "eBay Motors" website, which works the same as their regular auctions. Once you register and open an account, you can list your classic car for sale. You can include as much or as little information as you want and use photographs that you take yourself. In addition, you can set a reserve price and set the opening bid at any price you want.

Visit the "Classics and Customs" website. The website works much the same way as "Old Ride" does, in that you can list a sales ad with your information. You just need a credit card to pay for the ad.

Pay attention to upcoming classic car shows in your area and offer your car for sale at the show. There are a number of people who sell their cars in this way because all you need is a “for sale” sign to hang in the window. With the number of people who come to the show, you have a good chance of selling it there.

Place a classified ad in your local newspaper. Most newspapers now allow users to list in both the newspaper and their website for one low price. By doing this, you’ll ensure that your customer is someone in your area and you can take a check or money order from a local bank.

Tips & Warnings
Be as honest as possible when describing your classic car. If it has a new paint job or you’ve changed out any of the original elements, make sure you let potential customers know that.
