    Uh, I think the writer is confused. None of these things will even be looked at by the appraiser. The appraiser will measure the home to get the accurate square footage and compare it to other sold homes in areas such as location, amenities, updates and size. The appraiser couldn't care less if your house is cluttered.Clutter neither adds or detracts from a home's value. Nor does he care if your toilet is dripping. In fact, unless he has to go to the bathroom, he won't even look at your toilet. Where does eHow find you people?
