1
Hang netting from the ceiling, draping it over and/or around the bed. Use a large wooden hoop as the netting base, sewing the netting around the hoop with needle and thread. Suspend the netted hoop from the ceiling over the head of the bed. Let it fall naturally around the sides of the upper part of the bed, like a curtain, or tie it back with string or ribbon, attaching it to the headboard or wall at the head of the bed.

2
Drape and/or loop netting over a brass or other metallic bed frame (four poster or just the headboard). Let it flow freely down the four posts or head of the bed or attach it directly to the frame with ribbon or string, if desired. For additional decor, add strings of pearls or other beading for a romantic Victorian effect.

3
Hang curtain scarf rings or decorative arms over the head of the bed, draping netting much as one would drape a scarf over a curtain. The drape can be symmetrical or offset; doubled, looped, or put into any of the same formations that curtain scarves typically take on.
-
4
Hang a dimensional curtain rod over the bed, draping netting directly from the rod in loops, simple drapes, or even in sheer panels that can be tied back and attached to a headboard or the wall over the top of the bed.
-
5
Insert netting into a curtain lattice painted to any color of choice. Using the lattice, make net puffs, drapes, knots, roses or any other pattern desired. Weave silk flower or greenery ropes within the lattice work for additional decor. Then attach the lattice over the head of the bed.
-
6
Make a fabric cornice board that matches the bedding. Attach netting inside the cornice with staples, allowing it to drape over the top of the bed in panels or tying it back with ribbon or string. Attach to the wall if desired.
-
7
Use netting to make filmy curtains in one or multiple colors. Drape ropes of silk flowers or greenery over the top of the net curtains for a romantic, fantasy look.
-
8
Drape netting over a fabric curtain, a shade, or blinds much in the same vein as a curtain scarf. Add ropes of pearls, beading, or ribbon into the design for a soft, romantic look.
