How to Play Beer Die Drinking Game
Most drinking games are played by individuals against each other. There are some that are played by teams, and that is the type of drinking game the Beer Die Drinking Game is. This is why it is a great game for fraternity or other college parties. It can also be fun to play at a summer cookout or a tailgate party with a group of friends. All you need is a die, a table, a group of friends, and plenty of beer.

Gather a group of friends together for this drinking game. The Beer Die Drinking Game is best played at a home party. It can be played at a bar, but check with the bartender or wait staff before you begin playing. As this is a team game, you should have at least 6 players. The optimal number of players is between 8 and 10.

Pour a cup of beer for each player in the game. Each of the players may set his cup of beer anywhere on his team's side of the table that he wishes. Using glasses or very sturdy plastic cups is recommended.

Determine the height that a player must toss the die on her turn.

Toss the die towards the other team's set of drinking glasses or cups. Each player goes in order, rotating from one team to the other. The player must toss the die at least as high as the predetermined minimum height and try to land it in a cup of one of the members of the opposing team.

Land the die in the opposing team's cup. If the die lands in the cup of one of the members of the opposing team, the owner of that cup must chug his entire beer. If the die just hits the cup, the owner of that cup must take a single drink.

Rotate turns from team to team, with a new player throwing the die for each team until every player has had a turn. Start over and continue playing as long as everyone in the game wishes, or for a predetermined number of rounds.

Tips & Warnings
If you wish to keep score, a team receives 1 point each time their team member tosses the die into the cup of the opposing team. Once a team reaches 10 points, all other players on the other team must chug their own beer.
Some play that the non-throwing team must catch the die before it rolls off the table or the throwing team receives a point.
Determine ahead of time if a player can refill his cup after consuming it, or if he will be out of the game until the next round.
Remember to get permission from the bartender or waitstaff if you will be playing this game at a bar, as it can draw quite a crowd and get rather loud.
As always, make sure there are enough designated drivers, and that nobody drives home if they are impaired from drinking.
