How to Calculate for Laminate Flooring

Laminate flooring is a floating floor, which means is isn't attached to the sub-straight itself, it floats over the top of a thin pad. Instructions

1. 

   Measure the width and the length of the room.

2. 

   Multiply the width by the length to determine the square footage.

3. Divide the square footage by the amount in a box to determine how many boxes you need. Most laminates come prepackaged with approximately 25 sqare feet per box.
