Things You'll Need:
- Aloe vera plant
- Baking soda
- Fresh parsley
- Lemon
- Cider vinegar
- Wild herbs such as dock, chickweed or plantain leaves
- Horseradish root
- Alcohol

Step 1
Use alkalis to neutralize the stinging and itching of bee stings and ant bites, which are acidic. Make a paste of baking soda and water or apply crushed fresh parsley directly to the wound.

Use lemon juice or cider vinegar (which have acidic content) to ease the itching of wasp stings, which are alkali. Remove wasp stingers with tweezers, tweezing beneath the poison sac.

Rub dock, chickweed or plantain leaves on skin to reduce nettle's stinging effects.

Apply aloe vera's cooling gel to reduce the heat of of any bite or sting. Aloe vera also helps reduce the possibility of infection. Pinch off the tip of an aloe leaf and squeeze the pure gel onto the affected area.

Treat mosquito bites with a horseradish tincture to break down the toxin in your bloodstream. Grate horseradish root and steep it in one pint of alcohol for 3 or 4 days, stirring twice a day. Strain the mixture through muslin and store it in dark bottles in a cool, dark place. Keep it on hand for pesky mosquito bites.

Use onions for bee stings, nettle stings and mosquito bites. Just rub on a slice of onion for quick relief. Onion juice is analgesic and anti-inflammatory.
