How to Make a Simple Chocolate Sauce!

This, not too rich, chocolate sauce is ideal for ice cream, plain cakes or puddings

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/8 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  1. Step 1

    In a heavy saucepan, over low heat, put the butter and chocolate. Stir until both are melted.

  2. Step 2

    Remove from heat and stir in the salt, water and sugar. Blend together well. Return to heat and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

  3. Step 3

    Remove from heat. Cool slightly. Stir in vanilla and cool completely. Enjoy!
