There are many crafts you can make out of candy, but this one described in the steps below is by far the easiest one. The kids will love working on this project because of it's simplicity, and you'll love this project because it's easy to do and will keep the kids busy for hours.

From Quick Guide: Arts and Crafts for Beginners
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 wire hanger
  • Curling ribbons in different colors
  • Individually wrapped candy with the wrapper twisted at the ends.
  1. Step 1

Shape the wire hanger into a circle, leaving the hanger part intact.

  2. Step 2

Cut pieces of the curling ribbon into lengths of about 4 or 5 inches.

  3. Step 3

Grab a piece of wrapped candy and tie the ribbon around one end of the twisted wrapper and make it tight.

  4. Step 4

Tie the ribbon with the candy attached to the hanger tightly.

  5. Step 5

With scissors edge curl both ends of the ribbon and push the candy to one side so you have room to work on the next piece. Keep adding the ribbon and candy till the hanger is filled. The closer you push the candy together the thicker the wreath will be.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try to use children's wire hangers because they're smaller and won't take as much candy to fill them.
  • For a special gift to someone, take one dollar bills and squeeze them in the middle. Tie a piece of ribbon tightly around them and to the hanger at even intervals among the candy. It's quite a dramatic effect.
