Make Flowers out of Kleenex

Making flowers out of Kleenex is very easy to do once you know how. They look like carnations when you are done and can be used to decorate in a variety of ways. The two most popular uses for them are to decorate the car of a bride and groom. These are usually made with Kleenex the color of the wedding colors and are taped to the outside of the car.

Step 1

Take two pieces of Kleenex tissue and open them up. Lay one down on top of the other flatly in front of you.

Fold the tissues width wise, accordion style with each fold being about a half inch .

Step 3

Put a staple in the center of the folds once the whole tissue is folded.

Step 4

Check to see that the ends are even with each other. Use scissors to trim where you need to.

Step 5

Starting at one end on one side gently pull apart the layers of tissues. When you're done with both sides, fluff the tissue.
