OneTrueMedia is a great resource for creating photo or video montages. However, it is not as popular as YouTube, and your video usually won’t get as much publicity or views on OneTrueMedia. With a few simple steps, you can put a OneTrueMedia video onto YouTube and share it with the world.

From Quick Guide: Making a Video for YouTube
Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Register for a YouTube account if you don’t already have one. You have to be registered in order to upload content to YouTube.

  2. Step 2

Create your slideshow or video on OneTrueMedia. Make sure you are finished editing it and ready to share it online.

  3. Step 3

Look under the “Publish” field and click on “Share and Post Online.” Under “Ways to Share,” click on the YouTube icon.

  4. Step 4

Log in to your YouTube account in the window provided, then click “Allow Access.” You will be returned to the OneTrueMedia site.

  5. Step 5

Use the dialog box provided to add a title, description and keywords. Select the category your video should appear under and then choose if your video will be public or private. Remember that public videos are visible to anyone who views the YouTube website.

  6. Step 6

Click “Post” and wait for the video to upload. This may take a moment, depending on the size of your video and the speed of your internet connection.

  7. Step 7

Log in to YouTube again to check the status of your video. It may still be uploading. Once it is fully loaded, the word “Live!” will appear beneath the video’s details. Your video is now loaded onto YouTube.
