Hugh Hefner’s "Playboy Magazine" is one of the most popular adult magazines around. The women who grace the pages and even the covers are often looked at as beautiful, sexy, sophisticated and downright hot women. While there are a lot of blondes, dying your hair blonde will not guarantee you a job with "Playboy Magazine." As a matter of fact, "Playboy Magazine" embraces uniqueness and diversity. In order to get the job, you need to be ready, willing and determined to succeed in becoming a Playboy model.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Photographer
  • Stamps
  • Manila envelope
  • Nude photographs
  • Head shots
  • Cover letter
Step1
Physically prepare yourself. If you do get a job modeling for "Playboy Magazine" it is more then likely that you will be either sporting your birthday suit or some very sexy and revealing lingerie. In order to prepare yourself mentally and physically for this job, it is important to get your body into good shape. Not only will you look better but you will also feel a lot better.
Step2
Hire a photographer. While there are women who may get into the magazine by just sending basic snapshots that they did at home with a disposable camera, it is not the typical scenario. Find a photographer that you are comfortable with and who does good work. Since you will be taking nude photographs, it is important that you are comfortable with the photographer and that his style is tasteful.
Step3
Do a photo shoot. Once you’re ready, it’s time to do a photo shoot. You can either hire a makeup artist and hairstylist to style the shoot or do it yourself. Often times it is easier to hire someone because it takes the pressure off of you. Make sure to get some nude photographs and head shots. Playboy will want to see what you have to offer and if you can be used in the magazine. Make sure the photos are tasteful and not sleazy. Otherwise, it is without a doubt that your photos will be passed over.
Step4
Put together a portfolio. Once you’ve finished your photo shoot and have received your photos back, choose the pictures that show you off. Make sure you choose a head shot and full nude photograph.
Step5
Send it in to "Playboy." Now that you have gotten your photos done and chosen the ones that you feel best represent you, it’s time for the biggest step of all. It’s time to send everything in to "Playboy." Write a short cover letter explaining who you are and what your goals are. Make sure you include why you want to be in "Playboy" along with what you feel you have to offer.

Tips & Warnings

  • Include a photograph of yourself in a sexy lingerie outfit. This will give the editors an idea of how you look in lingerie.
  • Do not send in photos that are too sexual or provocative. "Playboy Magazine" prides itself on being an upscale and classy gentleman’s magazine and therefore will not likely choose a candidate who appears to be sleazy.
