There are many different types of acne medications available on the market today. Many of these products have been known to be harsh on skin while attempting to rid someone of their acne. Homemade acne creams are often less abrasive on skin and can be altered much easier for the individual skin type.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup of baking soda
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated
  • 2 apple slices
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 2 mixing bowls
  • Spoon
  • Washcloth
  1. Step 1

In the mixing bowl add the baking soda and water together and mix them well. If the mixture is very runny, add a teaspoon or two more baking soda and if the mixture is too thick, add a teaspoon or two of more water.

  2. Step 2

Add the grated cucumber to the mixture and mix it together well.

  3. Step 3

In the separate bowl, mash the apple pieces until they are a paste. Once the apple pieces are mashed together, add the mixture to the baking soda, water and cucumber mixture. Mix together well.

  4. Step 4

Add the tablespoon of honey to the mixture and mix together well. Once the mixture is completely mixed together, place the bowl in the refrigerator and let it sit for an hour.

  5. Step 5

Remove the mixture from the refrigerator and rub the mixture on to your face. Let it sit for a few minutes, up to five minutes and then wash it off with water and a washcloth. Repeat the next day.
