Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A computer running in windows XP
  1. Step 1

first turn on your computer, after it is done booting up, click start in the bottom left hand corner, next click control panel, then you are going to click on appearance and themes. Then change the desktop background.

  2. Step 2

from here you will see a figure of a computer monitor and a list of available pictures to choose as your new background. Some of these are ones that came with your computer, and there may also be ones that are in your "my pictures" folder.

  3. Step 3

If you have a picture that you would like to make into your desktop background, simply put it in your "my pictures" folder and it will then become one of the pics on the list. After you find the one you want to use as your background, just hightlight it so that you see it on the pic of a computer monitor. then click apply then save, you must save or it will not change.
