Playing darts is a great game with friends. One particular game we seemed to play for hours was baseball! This involves using the traditional side of the dart board, not the side that has a baseball diamond on it!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Dart Board
  • Darts
  1. Step 1
notice the numbers on the outside
notice the numbers on the outside

As you look at the traditional side of the dart board, you see numbers on the outside of the circle. Each number is viewed as an inning in baseball. The triangle with a 1 over it is the first inning. You throw your darts trying to land inside that triangle during the first inning and then you aim for 2 during the second inning. So you start with 1 and throw for 9 innings (or more if tied after 9).

  2. Step 2
If this were in the 20th inning (unlikely) this throw would be worth 3 points.
If this were in the 20th inning (unlikely) this throw would be worth 3 points.

Each player gets three throws per inning. The goal is to score runs. If you hit anywhere in the innings triangle, you score. If you hit the small outside rectangle of the triangle (known as a double), you score two runs. If you hit inside the middle rectangle of the triangle (known as a triple), you score three runs. Anywhere else in the triangle is one run.

  3. Step 3

Keep score through nine innings and the player with the most runs wins!

Tips & Warnings
  • This game is quite addicting.
