Things You'll Need:
- Light exercise
- Healthy eating
- Cocoa butter, almond oil, or shea butter
-
Step 1
HEALTHY EATING: Watching what you eat during pregnancy is as important as watching what you eat when you are not pregnant. You do not want to gain weight too fast, this is one of the main causes of stretch marks.
-
Step 2
EXERCISE: You will want to be careful about exercising while pregnant. Simply walking 30 each day can help. Talk with your doctor about exercise options.
-
Step 3
MOISTURIZE: A very important step is keeping the skin, where you suspect stretch marks to appear, moisturized. If the skin becomes itchy, this is a good sign it need to be moisturized. Cocoa butter, almond oil, or shea butter are the best for preventing stretch marks.
