Instructions

    • 1

Use wallpaper to make cupboard, shelf or drawer liners. Measure the surface you would like to cover and cut wallpaper to fit. Wallpaper can be cleaned easily and is simple to replace if damaged.

    • 2

Give gifts wrapped in wallpaper. Wallpaper is especially useful when you have a large or oddly-shaped object you need to wrap. If you only have small pieces of extra wallpaper, use them to make gifts tags or cards.

    • 3

Add personality to books by using wallpaper to make book covers. Wallpaper is pretty, tough and simple to replace. Measure book and add 2 inches on either side to fold wallpaper over the cover of the book. Turn wallpaper inside out if you prefer book covers in a plain cream color.

Use wallpaper to decorate a toy box or storage box. You can cover the entire box in wallpaper or cut out panels or elements to apply just to the lid or one side.

    • 5

Frame wallpaper. Measure the area inside the frame or mat and cut wallpaper to fit. Framed wallpaper ties a wallpapered wall to the rest of the room.

Tips & Warnings

  • In tough financial times, we need to do (and teach to do) with what we have.

  • You may meet resistance from school aged kids. A trip to a wallpaper store, may produce an odd lot roll of or "Hannah Montana" a favorite sport paper for a dollar or two.
