handle a nosy co-worker

We all have them. That one co-worker who has to know everything, even stepping on toes to find out information. People like this can be difficult to handle, so read on!

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Try to always be polite. This is a place of business and your job comes first. Yes, nosy people can rub your last nerve, but being rude in retaliation only makes things difficult for you.

  2. Step 2

Something else you should do is concentrate on your work. If he/she keeps asking questions, politely tell him that you have a lot of work to get done and you need to concentrate on what you are doing.

  3. Step 3

If the questions are persistant, ask him/her why he/she is asking. Try telling them that is not something you wish to discuss at work.

  4. Step 4

If this person is barging in on a conversation between you and another person, POLITELY tell them that this is a private conversation, to please excuse you.
