Coolatas are frozen drinks offered by the Dunkin' Donuts chain. As of publication, the company offers five flavors, including chocolate. While you might not be able to match the treat, you can make an adequate replacement when you don't have time to run by the donut shop. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 1 cup coffee (regular or flavored)
  • 1 cup vanilla or chocolate ice cream
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 1/4 cup crushed ice
  • Blender

Instructions

    • 1

      Save 1 cup of coffee from your morning pot or make a fresh cup. If you make cup, let it cool before proceeding. Use a flavored coffee if you prefer.

      Blend the coffee, ice cream, ice and syrup.

      Add more ice if the mixture is too thick after blending. You also can use cream instead of ice cream.

    • 4

      Substitute another flavor of ice cream to try something different.
